I've met a few who surprised me with their interest in participating in things they didn't need to do financially, or with volunteering, or with other personal projects. It's a definite point in their favour - being 10 years younger than them I've noticed that slacking off isn't in their repertoire as often as it was among my peers, but I think some of their communication skills are poorer - they struggle with honest or direct speech.
