The only Jews which follow these types of laws are the Orthodox Jews, and some Conservative Jews. These Jews are more religious than the Reform Jews, or "Humanitarian" denomination Jews. As Mila Kunis said she is NOT religious. This means she doesn't follow these laws. You don't have to worry any more. : )

In 1979 my mom had to stand outside in the bitter cold while pregnant waiting to buy an old stale piece of bread and when her turn in line would come the stand was all out of bread. All ppl had jobs, money, but couldn't feed their kids. (communism= not peaceful).

So since Mila was born to Jewish parents, it means she has lived not practicing specific dietary laws, traditions (shabbat) etc. as very religious Jews do. This in no way means Mila doesn't believe in G-d. She said, "I have faith". This means she has A faith. Faith means she believes in something. This means she's not an Atheist.
